A typescript entitled 'A curious dream' in which the writer, identified only by the initials C.M.C., recounts the events leading up to battle at Ahuahu and a dream he had the night before the skirmish at Ahuahu at which Captain Thomas Lloyd and five of his men were killed and decapitated. 6 April 1864. Dated 4 September 1924
