Description
Sketch of a house on Bullteel Street, New Plymouth. The foreground depicts a fence that runs along the front of the house. There are some plants, most likely bushes, that are located behind the fence. The mid-ground shows the house. It has two chimneys, a front porch or verandah, and a large bush or tree on the left side of the structure. In the background behind the right chimney there is a tall tree, and another, more abstract, tree behind the left chimney. The scene is depicted with loose, expressive marks with some sections washed with black ink.
