 Description
A Kabul to Kandahar Star. The bronze five pointed star surmounted by a crown and suspension ring. " KABUL TO KHANDAHAR 1880 " is marked in a ring at the centre of the star. " VRI " is marked in interlinking letters at the centre. "1630 PRIVATE J. WRIGHT 9th LANCERS " is marked on the reverse. It is fitted to a watered silk ribbon of pink, white, yellow white and blue and mounted together with an Afghanistan medal.
