Description
View looking over low stone fortifications, possibly Sedd el Bahr, towards the beached "S. S. River Clyde". The "River Clyde" was a ship adapted to be a landing ship for the invasion of the Gallipoli Peninsula. It was used as a quay and breakwater during the Gallipoli Campaign. There are tents erected within the stone fortifications. Other ships can be made out on the water in the distance.
