Biography
Established in 1892, Bifurcated and Tubular Rivet Company specialised in manufacturing bifurcated rivets and rivet setting machines. Rivets produced by the company were used in various goods from soldiers’ boots and car tires to vehicles and aircrafts. Bifurcated and Tubular Rivet Company was one of the biggest employers in Aylesbury with over 600 employees during its peak in the 1960s. Bifurcated and Tubular Rivet Co became a part of Aylesbury Automation Limited in the late 1990s.
