Biography
Mayor of New Plymouth December 1884- December 1886. Established Egmont Brewery in New Plymouth. Served as officer in the colonial forces during the Taranaki Wars. Active in the Taranaki Jockey Club, the New Plymouth Bowling Club, bands and theatre groups and a prominent member of the Freemasons.
