Biography
Esau Marsh was born in Netherby, Dorset, England in 1836. He was the son of James Marsh and Maria Turner and had five other siblings (Alfred, John, Matilda, Aaron and Hannah Maria). He married Sarah (Hera) Stockman in New Plymouth on 19 September 1865. He died on 23 May 1929 at Motunui, Taranaki. See family tree attached to PA2008.111 for further information.
