Biography
Charles Lawrence Sattler was the son of Lawrence and Lena Sattler of Waitui, Inglewood. He was a farmer prior to World War One. He was killed in action at the Somme, France, on 30 October 1916 and is buried in Cite Bonjean Military Cemetary, Armentieres, France.
