Biography
The Magog Motorcycle Club was established in New Plymouth on 23 January 1974 by a group of 13 men. These men rode large British motorcycles and partied together. The initial aims of the Club were simple - to enjoy themselves, ride motorcycles and be generally anti-social.
Today the Club has maintained its long term development goals for its members, and has always endeavoured to improve the conditions of their chosen lifestyle. These endeavours led to the establishment of the National Motorcycle Expo in 1982, which has proved to be a viable source of income to meet the prerequisites of the organisation. Subsequent shows enabled the Club to raise enough funds to purchase its own property in 1985. Club membership has changed with the times but it has always maintained a good percentage of members.
