Biography
William Charles Hamblyn, of Tāriki, embarked with the 17th Reinforcements of the Wellington Infantry Battalion, B Company on 27 September 1916 and was serving with the Wellington Infantry Regiment in Belgium when he was killed in action on 8 June 1917, aged 28.
