Biography
Arrived in Taranaki as one of the Taranaki Military Settlers from the South Island during the Taranaki Wars. After the wars he joined the stamp office and was also the schoolmaster at Ōmata. He was also a longstanding member in the St Mary's church choir and was married and had 11 children.
