Biography
Agnes Cole was born in 1815 in England. She married John Veale in England. They had six children - Thomas, Elisha, John, Jane, Elizabeth and Sophia. The family came to New Plymouth via Auckland on board the "Hamilla Mitchell" ship, which arrived in New Plymouth in February 1854. In New Plymouth John Veale worked as a carpenter and builder. Agnes died in 1878.
