Biography
Barford Badland married Elizabeth Borrie in April 1903 was farming at Manaia when he enlisted for service in the artillery in May 1916. He served as a gunner in the 20th Reinforcements of the New Zealand Field Artillery. He died on 19 July 1952 and is buried in the Manaia cemetery.
