Description
A band leads a procession of people on horses down the main street in Hawera to mark the opening of the Industrial Exhibition at Hawera on 3 February 1904. People are on the edge of the street watching the procession and wooden stores can be seen on both sides of the road. The exhibition was officially opened by Premier Richard Seddon and Sir Joseph Ward.
