Description
A cylindrical electroplated nickel silver trophy with two handles and a round base. " INGLEWOOD / SCHOOL / Queen Carnival / 1936 / PRINCESS / AGNES LOVELL " is engraved on the front of the cup. " Crusader / Plate E P N S A 1" is stamped on the underside of the base.

This trophy was awarded to seven year old Agnes Lovell (now Brabin) as part of the 1936 Inglewood Primary School Queen Carnival.The carnival was a fundraising event where the parents of four children, dubbed Princesses, were required to raise money for the school . The princess whose family raised the most money was then crowned Queen.
The other three girls in the 1936 competition were Sybil Bennett, Peggy Alleman, who was the Queen that year, and Barbara Grant.
