Description
Ngamotu Beach in the mid 1930s. Cars are parked on the sand, including the 1936 red Ford V8 used as the McLean's grocery store (Inglewood) van, which belonged to Agnes Brabin's (nee Lovell) grandfather. People are swimming at the water's edge. A ship is visible in the background moored at the wharf. Paritutu is also visible.
