Date incorrect. 2YB came on the airways April 27 1929. It only lasted 18 months there at the most as Mr Collier kept turning off the power to the studio as the power supply was restricted. As a result of this the studio was moved to King Street sometime prior to AGM of the NTRS in 1930. The large object to the right is the monitor speaker housed at TATATM, the centre object is the 2YB microphone, sent to Welling 2YA studio archives, then sold to Access Radio 2YB at their Thorndon Studio.
