Description
Two rows of people pose during the transfer of Te punga o Tokomaru and Poutama Whiria to Museum care on 30 September 1927. Three males in the front have feathers in their hair and one holds the Toki Poutama Whiria and the other two have canes rested by them with one hat on the floor and the other holding it with his cane.
Photograph is taken with Maori carving in the background on the right side and weapons in a cabinet in the background on the left side. All in the front row are seated and the rear are all standing.
