Photograph of Poi dancers at Parihaka. Nine women stand in a line, each of them are holding poi. They are dressed in Victorian style dresses with flax skirts over top. Some of them are wearing feathers in their hair. Ngaropi Damon Te Whiti stands with her hands on her hips and is leading the rōpū. Ngarere Te Pare Mauri Kipa (Skipper) (d.1952) stands fourth from the left, she has moko kauae. Te Whiri o te Koka Wharehoka (d.1960) stands second from the left. The photograph is unmounted.
