COMPOUND / LIQUORICE POWDER / Prepared according to the formula of British / Pharmacopoea./ An agreeable laxative for delicate / people and children. / Dose - Half a tea-spoonful to a tea-spoonful, in a / little milk or water. / Prepared for / A. E. Sykes, Chemist / NEW PLYMOUTH NEW ZEALAND " is written on the front of the label. The label also features a royal crest at the top and ornamentation on the corners. The bottle is empty.
