Photograph of eight Maori at Parihaka, the houses and hills of which can be seen in the background. The woman, identified as Mrs Te Kaa, is holding a baby named Te Whiri Otekoka Wharehoka (d.1960). The man on the right holds a small animal. The man second from the left is holding a plate of bread. The man wearing a hat in the centre of the photograph has been identified as Mr Te Kaa.

I have the Genealogy of Te Whiri she is my Great Grandmother. I am collecting Data. In time I hope to get a copy and reproduce and present to the Marae's at Parihaka and Muru Raupatu in Bell Block. I have lived in Australia for the last 20 years or so.
