Photograph of a military camp at Parihaka around 1881. There is a group of three men and a dog sitting on the left side of the image in the foreground. The tents of camp and lines of soldiers can be seen in the background. There are many soldiers lined up in the camp which is a wide open space with few trees. According to Nigel Prickett, this camp might be the Ngakumikumi camp near Warea.
