Carte-de-visite of Charles Autridge Bullot of the Taranaki Mounted Volunteers. Bullot is dressed in military uniform and is wearing his military decoration. He has both hands resting on top of his sword which is pointed toward the ground. His sword sheath hangs from his waist. On the left side of the image is a chair and a curtain. Charles Autridge Bullot was my great-grandfather. He is in fact was a member of the Taranaki Militia. The medal he is wearing is in my possession and on the edge of the medal is engraved "SERGT C A BULLOT TARANAKI MILITIA"
