Miss Mary Jones Knott had lived here from at least 1946. By 1960 the house was divided into two 'flats'. The one used by Mary Knott on the right hand side of the photo with the second floor room with the picture windows.
The second 'flat' had the Misses Cuthbertson living there for several years. Miss Kathleen Ida Cutherbertson lived there from at least 1963, continued to live in the house after her sister (Margaret) Daisy passed away in 1963 and after Miss Knotts passing in 1968, moved into that side of the house.
Miss Knotts sister, Mrs Ruth Alice Gowing (widow) lived at 10A from at least 1957, and came to live in the spare side of the house in the mid 1960s and remained there until her death in 1968.

Located at 10 Sackville Street, Fitzroy. My grandparents lived next door on the right and used Miss Knotts garage for their car. By 1960 the house was divided into two 'flats'.
