Photograph of five young soldiers who belonged to the Egmont Rifle Cadets. All men are dressed in military uniform. The older looking boy on the left, however, appears to be higher ranked judging by his fancier uniform and sword. The three boys in the centre hold their baoynets in front of them. Another boy on the right holds a sword in his left hand. From left to right: John Ainslei, William Henry Skinner, Tom Russel, Jack Whiteley King, Robert Scott.
