Description
Two colour slides of contestants in the 1961 Miss Brooklands contest at the Bowl of Brooklands. The first image shows Miss Brooklands and the Maids on the stage with balloons and streamers falling onto the stage. The second image shows the Maids photographed during the day standing on the steps of the Bowl stage holding bouquets of flowers. Their dresses were made by Pamela Sutherland. Miss Brooklands for 1961 was Pat Lennox.
