1914-1917.
Her
aunt,
Edith
Stanford,
established
the
school
in
the
1890s
and
was
headmistress
there
until
she
left
to
become
headmistress
at
St
Mary's
Diocesan
School
for
Girls'
in
Stratford
in
1919.
Chetwode
School
closed
when
she
left.
