Group of six. In the back row, left to right, are George Topless, George (Geo) Marshall (Coach and Selector) and Frank Olsson. Seated in the second row are Barry Old and Gerry Fowler. Coxswain Maurice Crow is seated on the floor in the front. Maurice is holding the Wally Sharpe Memorial Cup, which is presented to the winning Four at the Whanganui Rowing Championships. The trophy standing on a pedestal in the middle of the group is the Halliburton Johnstone Trophy which is presented to the winning Four at the New Zealand Rowing Championships.
