Woman, Miss Winnie Richardson, standing wearing swimming trucks and cap with a table of trophies in front, some reading 'Ocean Swimming Race'. The largest trophy is the Flannagan Cup for an ocean swim of two and a half miles off the New Plymouth harbour which she won on 28 March 1936. She was one of four who managed to finish the race out of 16 entries in cold conditions.
