Oral history. Describes his part in WWII in 25th Battalion, 6th Brigade, 2nd Division (Infantry), and Liberty bonds. Stuart's unit was Field security - counter-intelligence or espionage. He discusses this and mentions Thaddeus McCarthy and Selwyn Toogood. At the end of the war he was involved with getting the foreign born wives of soldiers back to NZ. He returned to Taranaki to live in New Plymouth.
