Description
Oral history. Describes her wedding at St Andrews, New Plymouth and reception at Pukekura Park Tea House, 1934, and general sewing and embroidery done in those days. Anita designed her new home in Douglas, still used by son David. Abstract includes photocopied photos of the wedding; recollections of her nightmare honeymoon journey through the Urewera road, written in 1991; copies of Museum descriptions of articles donated to Puke Ariki; photos of earlier Walter's. Anita Walter (Frethey) had trained as a teacher.
