Hi Dianne, Thank you so much for filling in the background of this photograph. I have to admit that the photograph is one of my favourites from the Swainson/Woods Collection! I love the way the light gleams over the rabbit’s coat. And it would have been quite a feat to get the rabbit to sit still long enough to take the photo!

The Beale rabbit is from my grandfather & grandmother who used to raise angora rabbits. Ted Beale (interviewed) was the oldest son: my father was one of the youngest.
