Description
A white silk handkerchief which features a scene from Cairo on it. " CAIRO SOUVENIR " is written in red under this scene. A picture of the sphinx and a pyramid surrounded by 12 flags is also featured on the handkerchief. " THE ALLIES " is written on scroll below this. " G. KEMP " is stamped very faintly near one corner.

This souvenir handkerchief was sent back home by William David Kemp, to his sister Gwen in 1915. He was killed on Chunuk Bair later that year.
