Portrait of the Rutherford family. Print has list of names typed on rear, which reads: "This rare photograph, one of the very frew of the whole Rutherford family, was taken about 1880 and shows (clockwise): Alice; Rose Thompson (a cousin); Ernest standing behind Arthur; Nell beside her father with Evelyn at his feet; George behind Herbert seated behind Florence, who has Ethel seated to one side and Charles on the other. Behind him stands their mother. James, who tells this tale, and who is now blind and in his 83rd year, is seen lounging on the ground to the right, a little apart".
