Description
A smoking pipe with a long, deep, round wooden bowl, a sharp angled stem, a silver ferrule, with manufacturer's marks (Birmingham, 1901), and a sharply angled bone bit. " S. AFRICA" is marked on a scroll design on the bowl surmounting a coat of arms. " W. S. LOCHHEAD / DUNEDIN " is marked below it. " A.L.A." is marked on the reverse of the stem.
