Annotation.The Balkan States: Turkey, Bulgaria, Rumania, Servia and Greece.
"This map shows the greater part of the Balkan States and the adjoining portion of the Austria-Hungary - an area which has suddenly developed into a war area which may become of the first importance. Servia is at present being attacked by Austro-German armies across the river frontier in the north and by Bulgarian forces across her eastern border. In view of the comparative rarity of large-scale maps of the Balkan States readers should keep this one by them for reference".
