Description
A white plastic New Zealand Rail safety helmet. The helmet has plastic webbing on the interior along with black fabric straps and a metal buckle. There is a black rubber strip running around the edge. A New Zealand Rail logo features on the front of the helmet and there are two rounded metal rivets on the outside. Portions of the logo have been overwritten in black marker pen. " DALYTE / NZS2264 1970 / Industrial Helmets / Maximum / Protection / Made by / Noel Daly Ltd. / New Plymouth / New Zealand " are written on two manufacturer's labels stuck on the interior. There is also a circular white rubber pad attached to a strap onto the interior and a yellow leather covering on the forehead portion of the plastic strap.
