Description
Invitation to Trooper A. Chard to attend a parade of volunteers at the Drill Hall, New Plymouth to take part in the parade depositing of the Colors of the late Taranaki Mounted Rifles Corps at St Mary's Church, New Plymouth, on Coronation Day 26 June 1902.
However, King Edward VII became ill on the 24 June, so the parade was postponed until his actual coronation day on 9 August 1902.
The surround includes 1879-1882, a picture of the Colours, and lists the following members:
