 Description
A light blue commemorative bag which is fastened by a zip and has two blue handles on the sides. " G.T.G. PROJECT / SAFETY AWARD " is embroidered in red around a picture of a mountain which is embroidered on white on an oval badge that has been sewn onto one side. A manufacturer's tag is fixed under the strap on the underside. " PERSONALISED / CLOTHING / COMPANY " is written on the manufacturer's tag.

This bag was awarded to Danny Blattler when he was working on the construction of the Synfuel synthetic petrol and methanol plant during the early 1980s. Various safety awards were presented monthly to staff during the construction of the plant. Danny used the bag to carry his work gear for a ' couple of years ' while he worked on the site and continued to use it as a gear bag until soon before it was donated.
