Description
A metal stamp consisting of a wide, thick, round base, an angled square of greenstone on top of the base, and a long, tapering, round handle with three fern leaves attached. Joined to the base through the greenstone. The stamp bears the following"21511 Pres" on top of the base, "He Koha Na Heeni Te Rau Me Tona Iwi Me Te Atiawa" around the side of the base, and "Hiri O Te Kotahitanga O Nga Iwi O Waitotara Ki Parininini" on the bottom of the base along with a picture of Mt Taranaki with "Taranaki" across it and a Maori waka at sea. A piece of paper states - official seal of the Maori record, printed from 1905 to 1907. The stamp comes in a blue plush lined wooden box along with a leather case and ink pad.
