Laurence Edward Victor BILLING married Alice nee Smith in 1915. Laurence was born 1887 in New Plymouth, he was a son of Thomas John Billing and Emma Jane nee McKoy of Tikorangi and Rahotu. Laurence's grandparents were William Billing and Eliza nee Peardon, original settlers in New Pymouth from Cornwall, Devon, England
