 Description
Oral history. John was born almost totally blind and deaf and was educated at home. His family had been in Okaiawa since 1890 and he describes many features of the area. Started playing the piano at 9 years of age and still plays for Senior Citizens Club. He also plays the piano accordian and is in a singing group.
