Description
A walnut writing box with a large open storage area, two small drawers for holding nibs, erasers etc, a hinged lid with a small brass handle and a brass hook for locking purposes. The box contains two pen holders, a pencil, a brass clasp, and four packets of flower seeds. The makers name is branded on an oval brass plate " MANUFACTURED BY / HIBERNIA WORKS / HIBERNIA / TRADE ... MARK / SHEFFIELD / WILLIAM MARPLES & SONS." It contains pens, pencils and seed packets.
