Samuel Matthews is my great grandfather.He is the son of Samuel Matthews and Susannah Parsons.Samuel Matthews (junior) married Elizabeth Astle of Nelson.Samuel and Elizabeth had 4 children born in Inglewood viz Henry, Lottie,Maggie and Thomas.Lottie is my grandmother and she married George Todd Brown Grant in 1910 at Wellington.They had one son George Malcolm Grant (my father)
