"She Told Me To Leave"
Description
Etching is broken into halves horizontally. The lower half has an image of a young girl with long hair (head and arms visible) sleeping on her stomach and resting her head on her hands and pillow. There are six geometric patterns extending from the right hand vertical edge onto her blankets - silver; blue; red; green; grey/gold; grey. The image is grainy and has the characteristics of a photo-etching. The top half, perhaps rendered to represent a dream, depicts a partially unravelled scroll portraying a Polynesian woman wearing a headscarf. Intricate geometric patterns are represented on the background of the scroll behind the woman. The scroll's ties hang loose from the left hand side. Both the sleeping girl and the scroll are depicted in a purple/brown hue.
