Description
Silkscreen on Fabriano paper of a 'shield' in a rough square shape (without a top left corner) with black and white stylised motif, suggestive of branches, around a central panel. The internal panel of the shield is a rectangle, which is divided in half. Each half is divided into 7 triangles. The top half of the internal panel, divided into individual triangles (from left to right), depicts: repeated text reading "Fire / Blood"; an image of a baby in the womb; what appears to be a seed; an image of three children; text reading "Circle / rebirth / witch / sister / moon / heal / whole / daughter / womin / rebirth / moon"; and a section of text. The lower half of the internal panel, divided into individual triangles (from left to right), depicts: a heart; text reading "Fire / blood / water / stone"; a protest [?] scene with a banner and text reading "You can't stop the spirit / she is like a mountain / old and strong / she goes on and on and on"; and text repeating "Water / Stone". Screenprint is printed with black, white, pale yellow, lime green and light blue.
