 Description
A stage floodlight. The floodlight has a grey steel body with a circular glass lamp at the centre. This lamp front is diagonally hinged. A bracket is attached to the main body and the light has a short black electrical cord attached to it. There is a light metal frame in a bracket at the front of the light which can be used to hold coloured filters. "BOWL" is stencilled in black on both arms of the bracket and there is a strip of red tape wrapped around one arm. A bolt and wingnut is in the centre of the frame to allow the floodlight to be mounted.

This floodlight was purchased by the Bowl of Brooklands Trust and was thought to be among the first set of lights used at the venue. Over the years it was part of a set of lights which were shared between the Bowl of Brooklands and the Opera House. They were used until the mid-late 1990s until they were replaced after an incident where glass from one fell onto the stage in front of a performer.
