Description
An impression of a coat of arms on an orange oval piece of sealing wax adhered to a section of brown paper. The crest of the arms is a kotuku (white heron) with a sun and waka (canoe) beneath. The quartered shield has – clockwise from top left - crossed flags, a hand holding a leafy twig, a tree and a spouting whale. To the sides, in place of supporters, are flax bushes with patu. The scroll at the base reads "POTATAU II KINGI".
