part
of
the
name
plate
from
the
Hawea
which
was
wrecked
in
New
Plymouth's
harbour
on
12
June
1888.
According
to
Puke
Ariki
records
it
was
found
'many
years'
after
the
wreck
on
a
reef
at
the
foot
of
Weymouth
Street,
New
Plymouth.
