Description
A commemorative ceramic goblet for the golden jubilee of Ledingham's Furnishers Ltd, New Plymouth. The goblet is finished in shiny black glaze with gilt decoration. The interior is also gilded. "Ledingham's Furnishers Ltd. Golden Jubilee 1935/1985" is written around a picture of a piece of furniture on the front. A manufacturers mark which includes a fleur-de-lys and two keys is on the underside of the base. The goblet has an unglazed edge on the foot.

This goblet was sent to Mr Wilson in 1985 by Ernest Oswald Ledingham, who owned Ledingham's Furnishers Ltd. Mr Wilson was the Minister at Knox Presbyterian Church in Fitzroy 1970-1976, when Ernest Ledingham was the organist.
